Happy 2023!

2022 was an exciting year for the fight against lung cancer. Several new treatments in the field of precision oncology have continued to revolutionize the way that we detect and treat a variety of lung cancers. We have continued to improve outcomes for lung cancer patients to the point where we can no longer say that lung cancer is responsible for more deaths than the next three leading types of cancer combined. And possibly the biggest news of 2022: we saw the birth of Lung Cancer Kilts! In the last year, we set out to educate lung cancer patients and their families about the subtleties and complexities of this disease, and we vow to continue to do so through 2023 and beyond!

In this new year, we ask you to Resolve to Get Screened. If you’re between the ages 50-80, are currently a smoker or have quit in the past 15 years, or have smoked at least 20 pack years, talk to your doctor about getting screened today. 2023 is going to be a great year in the fight against lung cancer, and every person that gets screened at the right time puts us one step closer to victory!
