The Kilted Doc
Pulmonary and critical care physician, lung cancer screening program director, interventional pulmonologist and physician-scientist.
I care for people across the spectrum of lung health and lung cancer care, from smoking cessation and lung cancer screening through evaluation of abnormal chest imaging, diagnosis, procedures, treatment complications, and goals-of-care discussions.
My research focuses on smoking cessation, earlier detection, better evaluation of concerning lung findings, tumor immunology, and new approaches to lung cancer treatment.
But much of what I do comes down to something simpler: helping people understand complicated science and what it means for real-life decisions.
This site is dedicated to bringing that science into real life.
