Marked Improvement in Lung Cancer Mortality!

First the bad news, 2022 data from the American Cancer Society showed lung cancer is still the number one cause of cancer related death in the US for both genders.

BUT, one look at the trends in both New Cases (left) and Death Rate (right) show significant improvements in both categories! This shows the power of good research in transforming the lives of so many stricken with this disease. With additional work, we strive to knock lung cancer off its lofty perch as the deadliest cancer.
